Glow // Ecstatic Dance Northampton // Flow (Sun, 4/28)

"The dance can reveal everything mysterious that is hidden in music ... dancing is poetry with arms and legs." ~ Charles Baudelaire

Dance is love, community, nourishment, inspiration, connection, bliss...

Let's dance together and start the week off in movement and magic. GLOW invites an early evening gathering of community to co-create a journey together... with a mix of local and worldwide teachers, DJs, artists, and musicians to weave a rich experience with a worldwide community and our local family.

Delighted to welcome talented DJ and ecstatic dance producer Loui Phillip (aka. Dj eoka) down from Canada to join us!!

Above all, Dj Eoka emerged from the world of ecstatic dancers... From the dance floor to turntables, several years of body language now tinged the music he shares. His mixes are emotional journeys in which his light temperament, full of complex flavors and tones, deeply permeates the moods we all share. Like the wind, it carries a wide variety of fragrances and impacts ... his multilayer compositions are designed to offer your body a unique and creative dance support for exploration and discovery.

Eoka runs a weekly dance in Val David, Canada called "Movement Libre" along with Ecstatic Dance Montreal and other regional dance events. He is a regular DJ at Dance New England Dance Camp, has played for Pollinate in Western Mass, I-Opener Boston, and abroad in Europe.
